2017 marks the 150th anniversary of the events of 1867 that were led by and centered around Colonel Thomas J. Kelly. Please join us at his gravesite for a commemoration of Colonel Kelly, and a remembrance of the three Bold Fenian Men of 1867 who gave their lives for the cause of Irish freedom – The Manchester Martyrs: William Philip Allen, Michael Larkin, and Michael O’Brien.
Sesquicentennial commemorative items (coins, lapel pins, patches, etc.) and historic reproductions (posters, postcards, etc.) will be available for purchase (cash only).
Consider requesting to be added to this Facebook page dedicated to Remembering Colonel Thomas J. Kelly and The Manchester Martyrs: facebook.com/groups/770823502998294
ABOUT THE ORGANIZER:
IFfF Global was formed last year to bring together people who wish to remember their history, and learn more about the brave souls from whom they descend, and to ensure 2017 does not pass by without the appropriate level of commemorations and remembrances. IFfF Global stands for the story of the Irish Fight for Freedom, as told from a Global perspective. Colonel Kelly gets a new military headstone courtesy of the U.S. Army
